The National Museum for the Army is a 110,000 SF facility located on the Fort Belvoir campus in Northern Virginia. The building consists primarily of a steel frame structure on top of a 31,000 SF framed mechanical vault. The project involved complex buttress retention wall framing tied to the mechanical vault along with varying and distinct slab on grade features that were a part of the overall exhibit experience.
